Wee! I miss Kovsky. She's been text messaging me from the road as she travels home but that is totally NOT the same.

New Guy starts today. Poor soul. I hope he's strong. And also not somebody we have to torture, maim and kill. Unless something went wrong, he's in the new employee orientation RIGHT NOW. It's going to be...interesting. Because he was hired in, right? But none of us in the team know EXACTLY what he where his skill sets lie. Not even the team lead who was like, I saw his resume for like 5 minutes a month ago...So yay, we get to quiz him! And probably scare him off.

Over lunch today I need to buy Return of the King since I'm supposed to have a date with ashlyn26 tonight to cowatch it. Hee, life is good.

I would just like to note to the world that my former enemy, now conqueror is gracious, benevolent and sexxellent. And I hope that my loyal allies (I am sorry that my warlike spirit failed, I simply can not stand strife - not when the opponent is cunning and uses my own weaknesses against me) do not mind the fact that ros_fod plans to ravish them all in turn. Be strong, be brave. And stop going to the back of the line to be ravished again! Only one pillaging per person, that's supposed to be the rule, you'll all get a turn!

And wee! SHORT WEEK!

For those who are unaware - annakovsky has been roadtripping on her own, which is why we are Kovskyless on LJ. However, she has her phone with her and has been sending me loving text messages, often and well. I tucked her in last night and this morning she gave me a hug first thing and I've been getting regular updates on her progress, whenever she stops.

She just sent me this message:

Kovsky: Dude! At the last gas station they were selling "horny goat weed"! I almost bought you some but was too embarrassed.

swmbo: omg!! What *is* 'horny goat weed'?! Can I mention your encounter on LJ?

Kovsky: It *appeared* to be some sort of aphrodesiac. I was scared. And hee! Of course you can share on LJ. I kind of assumed you already were.

swmbo: Hee, of course I have been sharing...but horny goat weed is a whole new level.

Anyway, I told her I googled it and she's totally right, that's what it is! And she thought of me! Woot, when you think of horny goats, think of swmbo! Kovsky's trying to increase my libido and seduce me!1!!1!

But I still can't believe they sell that in the GAS STATION. So weird.

But to update everybody - she's only about an hour and a half away from her destination in Virginia, where she'll be until Thursday. And it sounded like she thought she would be able to get online from the hotel, so we might get some sweet annakovsky lovin' on LJ tonight. Keep your fingers crossed!
