Mmm...weather in the 60s now, I can have my windows open. Although I woke up this morning with a huge pressure headache, maybe compounded by allergies, maybe not. Slept late and stayed groggy and headachy. Still am. The worst thing is the groggy brain has delayed my plan which was to try to catch up on a lot of the fic that I've missed recently, particularly the oh, four or five ficathons that have spawned results lately.

Speaking of which (because do I ever talk of anything else? Don't answer that) - The Master List for the Anniversary Edition of the Original Flashficathon has been updated and is as current as I know! If anybody published their fic and their link isn't listed, please feel free to drop me a comment. Also if anybody is working on theirs still it is definitely not a problem - I've updated a few that I know are currently delayed. If anybody knows the status of any remaining fics that'd be extraordinarily helpful!

And if anybody needs to drop out, just drop me a line as well. AND if anybody is interested in potentially being a backup writer still - right now entrenous88 has graciously agreed to backup write for the only official drop-out but that situation is subject to change! And otherwise I'd have to try to write any and all backups myself and you know you don't want that :)

And now on to joyous news! Wee! LESS than a week until I fly to Boston! Thursday, Thursday, Thursday after work! And then drive with annakovsky, flowery_twat and loraineee79 (note the alphabetical order so I don't get into trouble) to Toronto to meet up with minervacat! It seriously is insane but I'm squeeingly happy. I can't believe that my first trip in not only to meet LJers but also to fly out to meet them and then spend nine hours in the car with them roadtripping (EACH WAY) and fleeing the country. Hee! Canada, Canada, here I come.

Of course the first problem is I don't speak Canadian. Fortunately I know that Twat and Kovsky (particularly Twat) are both fairly fluent and can help me with the translations. And wee! Toronto! Twat has promised to take me to eat goat curry at The Real Jerk *dances* And drinking cider! And maybe sushi! Not all at the same time! *bounces about more* circe_tigana! fitofpique! glossing! Who knows who else?! Twat and Kovsky, probably, but I can't keep track of such things. I can just keep track of my ticket. It's enough to make one boggle. I'm boggling. There may be tattooing involved! There will definitely be much, much love. I can not express how excited I am about this.

I may panic on Wednesday, though. Please be prepared to hold my hand through either 1) packing crisis or 2) general 'oh my lord, what the HELL am I thinking' crisis. I may become slightly overwhelmed by it all. And come back all corrupted. Weeee! We can but hope, right?
