The wind! The wind will not stop howling! It howls and it howls...
*breaks down sobbing*
So last night I go to bed, oh, I don't know, midnightish. Give or take an hour. And the wind just keeps howling, and I can not sleep and I start inventing stories for myself and that works to distract me for a while but I still can't sleep and I want to sleep because I'm tired but the wind just keeps HOWLING. *shudder* So finally at 4 am I give up on trying to fall asleep in my bed because the wind is so gosh darn loud. And I go downstairs to the couch and lie down on that, and it's better...there's still howling wind but it's not nearly as loud. And I manage to sleep until around 8am or so. With very weird dreams, I don't remember all of them. But I do remember waking up at 8 am and sitting bolt upright and thinking "Connor/Willow - worst ship EVER!"
And all I can say is that for once I'm glad I can't remember the dream that prompted that thought.
In related news, the wind is still howling. *sobs* Loudly and without ceasing and it's supposed to keep it up for a while - we have a wind advisory until 11 am tomorrow morning. So there might not be a single shred of sanity left in me by the time this is over. And the thunderstorm still hasn't broken, it's just wind and looming clouds and more wind and that oppressive pre-storm quality and more wind. And did I mention the wind?
*goes insane*
*hugs and clings to everybody*
*breaks down sobbing*
