Oh this is SUCH an excellent month.

Because *clears throat happily* There is yet MORE Snygel in the world! Sweet and touching Snygel, that explores the truth behind Season 3 of Buffy and Angel's mission. Oh, the joy, it knows no bounds.

*hugs crimsonlady - thank you so much for writing this. My memories are just getting chock-full of Snygel!

Wee!Happy Saturday everybody! And I've been really busy already today.

So far today I:

1. woke up and got myself a cup of coffee and *squee* a chocolate covered doughnut
2. filed the bathtub with water
3. answered the phone - this was potentially a mistake as it was the mombo and we talked for about an hour, thus letting my bath water go all cold
4. took a lovely bath, after adding lots more hot water, for about an hour, mmm...nothing like soaking on a rainy day - because yes, it is very grey and wet and rainy
5. beta'ed a fic
6. had my neighbor come over and look at the garage door - and he said *dances* that he thought he could fix it without problem. And it was really funny cause he, his wife (my best friend for 10 years now) and I were all looking at it and I said something and he goes "well, no, honey...I mean swmbo!" and she and I both cracked up and she goes 'yeah, he's so used to patronizing me that kind of thing just slips out...
7. went with them to Lowes and bought the parts needed to fix garage door - for a grand total of just under 25 dollars ! Woo!! *dances*
8. came back and 'helped' fix the garage door, which generally consisted of holding bits of wire and nuts and bolts.
9. tested garage door several times - it works! Wee!
10. killed a wasp (inside the house)

And now I'm free for about 2-3 hours, but then I'm taking them out to eat. Which I was planning on doing ANYWAY, as a 'celebrate the new paycheck thing' - and now it's 'celebrate that and thank you for fixing my door.' Well, relatively free as I have another fic to beta and *cough* I have to finish my my lyric wheel fic since it's finally the weekend and I have TIME and hopefully inclination, and possibly/hopefully some other stuff.

So, that's my Saturday so far! And the one thing that I'd actually PLANNED to do today - mow the grass - is off the list because of the aforementioned rain. Also, *facepalms* I said "Dude" when we were looking at the garage door. I NEVER say that, not in real life, not for REAL. But I've been typing it so much on LJ and when talking on the phone to LJers that...hee, now it's slipping out in regular conversation and I'm getting mocked. Mocked to DEATH!
