And as a special treat, check it out ! bear wrote me a little snippet of Snygel yesterday which can be found in the comments thread of my last post. Snygel ! As a matter of fact, the day has come when I've made a special "Snygel" category for my memories. Sadly it does not contain as much fic as a ship this important should - but I'm sure that's just an oversight that will soon be remedied!

And this is just also a reminder that while I won't be around much today - I WILL be watching you. *pets her phone* So don't get into too much trouble without me! And keep your fingers crossed and send out good vibes for me, that everything goes swimmingly. *hugs to all*

I'm back! I am back from my first day at work! And let me tell you, it rocked. I have NO clue what anybody except, oh, 6 people's names are. And I can see myself getting lost (arundhathi knows all about my superior navigation skills) INSIDE the building quite often - I nearly made a wrong turn and was corrected once and I DID go the, um, scenic route back to my office another time.

However, I think swmbo's impression of the day can be summed up in two events.

1. The phrase "You can never go wrong with pirates!" was uttered. And NOT by swmbo! How excellent is THAT?
2. There is a pool table IN - oh, I guess it's the employee lounge or rec room or something...Names, it's yet another name!

The only thing I miss is I'm not sure yet how often I'll be able to check LJ. I know for the next week I am in a SWARM of orientation this and training that and while I have a computer (and hee, NEW office supplies, weee) and a desk and everything, for at LEAST two days I won't even be at them. I believe I'll actually be in the aforementioned pool table room Wednesday and Thursday. I did check my LJ slightly from my phone - hence the replies to my previous post with the infamous raccoon icon. But I was SO busy I barely had time to do that, much less read my actual flist! I imagine that it'll calm down enough that I can at least check it during lunch and stuff later in the week.

But wee! I had a fabulous time. AND my flowery_twat is back from her trip to DC, which makes things right with the world. Arrie and I had to cling together desperately to survive without twat-snark in the mornings.

And I want to give extra hugs and thanks to SO many people right now, for all of your love and support. You know who you are cause I talk to you on AIM all the time *hugs you tightly* Seriously, you guys mean the world to me.
