Swmbo is not dying of the death-plague.

For those who need a detailed update on my day/weekend (and really, who doesn't?) I did watch a lot of Buffy, as planned. Several eps of Season 2, then I went with the most Snyder-riffic episode of all, Band Candy and followed that with Revelations. Then I moved on to some Season 5, even though the lack of Snyder made me sniffly. But I consoled myself with Glory. Glory! But I think I'll be putting in Season 3 again today, to conclude my weekend-of-Buffy. I'm only barely sniffly now but I'm still really tired. Even having gone to bed EARLY last night.

But in more important news for those who are friends with [livejournal.com profile] flowery_twat - I had only an itty-bitty death plague. But our [livejournal.com profile] flowery_twat is much more sick, *hugs her close* She lost Tuesday-Saturday and is still very, very weak. She's checked back into the emergency clinic today and so doesn't have access to her computer, but she thanks everybody for their good wishes and get wells on her post and she'll be well and back in a couple of days. She better or I'm gonna have to take a trip to Boston to force her to be better, or at least to feed her soup. Feel free to AIM or email me if you want more info or if you want to call her.

I'm pretty sure I was going to say something else in this post as well but it's already slipped my mind.
*hugs to everybody*

Oh! Wait...on Friday [livejournal.com profile] bear recommended a drink for those with death-plague - hot lemonade with honey. I modified the recipe left in my comments due to my being too tired to make a full pot of lemonade, the stirring seemed like an impossible task. Instead I just took a spoonful of frozen lemonade concentrate and a spoonful of honey in a mug, added boiling water. Stirred and popped in the microwave for 30 seconds to bring it up to extra hot. And it helped a lot so I thought I'd pass it along. I'm thinking if I had ginger root I would have put a sliver in as well and it would have been perfect.

*hugs*

ETA: OH ! I remember what I meant to say! flowery_twat was sick, but not too sick to forget to reassure me that she did research in China and checked with the best heads of zoology there to confirm that Pandas are NOT related to raccoons and therefore still forces for good. I love her!
