Seein' as how there aren't points for accuracy, you just have to pretend that I'm sayin' this in a gravelly, salt-wind roughened voice. With many an "arr!" thrown in as punctuation. Arr! See? That t'werent so hard, were it?

Friday night was all about the sleepin' - apparently being a pseudo-aunt is near as exhausting as givin' birth to a little scrap of a sailor yerself. I sat down on me couch for jist a minute on Friday evening at 8 bells on the dogs watch (that tis 8 pm for you landlubbers) and the next thing I knew it were near the end of the graveyard watch. So I read for a bit and then turned in again. Arr!

And today has already been a rough day at sea, for I've got some sorta bad fic karma. Um, ARR! No matter which fandom I tried I was finding everything with my anti-kinks. Clark and Lex calling each other "my love" *sob* . Please. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF SWMBO! If I don't want somebody calling me something, I definitely don't want to read other people calling them that! (Watch, Kovsky will now proceed to call me 'my love' just to piss me off. Thank god her computer won't be fixed til Monday so she might not see this). And then I try HP and it's all poor, abused Draco and dude. I like my Draco SNARKY and bitchy. I like my Lex snarky. I like the SNARK! *sobs* So I am at a total loss for what to read next, I can't find anything. But I am strong! I will survive. Lost premiers this upcoming week! Smallville does! I must figure out which to watch and which to download! *flails*

Anyway, today's plan is to bake brownies and then take brownies over as offerings to the family. Hey, I bribe because I love. I'm trying hard to find that balance between seeing the baby as much as I want and not becomine crazy neighbor/best friend. But really, if they INSIST on having the cutest baby in the world, they have to expect people. Hee! But I've actually been quite good. Anyway, I already had me disaster for the day - getting eggs out of the fridge and...oops. Egg broken on the floor. But I have cleaned it up and the browies are in the oven and brownies make egg disasters worth it!

Better than hardtack and weevils, argh! (Because I totally slacked on pirate talk during this)
